final battle in the final conflict will also include an atomic bomb. Following that,
there will be a seven year clean-up of contaminated bodies that will require
special handling. One possibility is that Iran and/or Korea will deploy their
nuclear capabilities. 29: Immediately after the
tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give
her light Isaiah 13:10 There is a
suggestion here, of total darkness for a least 24 hours (or could be referring
to opposite sides of the earth, where it is day in one part of the world and
night in another. Darkness covered the land
of Egypt for three days and also for three hours when Jesus died on the
cross. There will be another period of total darkness immediately prior to his Second
Coming. This will partly explain the “Brightness” of his coming and
the stars Job 38:7, Isaiah
13:6-13, Revelation 12:4 shall fall from the heavens and the [angelic]
powers of the heavens shall be shaken Romans 8:38, Ephesians 6:12 God created every star. He knows the number of each star. And
he calls each star by name Psalm 147:4. There is some connection
between the stars of the heavens and angels, though they are completely
separate entities Job 38:7. Could it be, that as Elohiym, created
the angels, one by one, each magnificent, powerful, and unique in his own
right, he also formed a star and gave each star the name of its corresponding
angelic creation? Could this be the reason angels are sometimes called “stars”
in scripture? As the angels are an innumerable host, so are the stars. 30:
After the sun stops shining and the moon refuses to
give its light, the darkness shall be broken… And then shall appear
the Sign of the Son of Man the Cross in the heavens and then
shall all the tribes of the land mourn Zechariah 12:10-14 identifies
these as tribes of Israel The sign of the
Son of Man—the Cross—will open a portal between Heaven and earth, and coming
through that portal… and they shall see the Son of Man coming on the
clouds of Heaven Hebrews 12:1, Jude 14-15, Revelation 1:7 with
power and great glory Revelation 1:7 31: And he shall
send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they shall gather together
his elect The ungathered Jewish elect Ezekiel 28:25-26 from
the four winds from one end of heaven to the other They will be
brought to Israel 32: Now learn the parable of the fig tree Representing
physical/geographic Israel When the branch is yet tender and puts
forth leaves you know that summer is near Jeremiah 8:20 33:
So likewise you when you shall see all these things know that it [2nd
Coming] is near even at the doors[14]
34: truly I say to you this race [the Jewish race]

all these things [shall] be fulfilled35: The heavens and earth shall perish
[Perish in the sense that they will no longer exist in their present
form but be changed into the New Heavens/New Earth Psalm 102:25-28] but
MY WORD shall not perish 36: But of that day and hour Resurrection/Rapture.
We know this because of verses 37-39 no human has known[16]
No not the angels of Heaven but my

But know this that if the owner[s] of the house had known in what watch
the thief would come they would have watched and would not have allowed the

an hour as you do not expect the Son of Man comes 45: Who then is a
faithful and wise slave whom the master has made ruler over the household to
give them food in due season[18]

lord of those slaves shall come in a day when they do not expect him and in an
hour they do not see coming 51: And shall cut them off and appoint them
their portion with the hypocrites There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth
[1] In the Berry Interlinear [based on the
Greek text of Stephens 1550] and in the scrTR [1894], The Greek definite
article “O/ho” which means “the” appears
before the word “Iesous” from which the name “Jesus” is derived through transliteration
[as opposed to translation (see footnote for Matthew 1:1). The presence
of the definite article in this verse [preceding the name Iesous] is significant,
yet it remains untranslated in English translations. This is unfortunate
as the Greek text of this verse shows that the word “Jesus,” though
transliterated from the Hebrew YHWSHUA is not always a name, but in some
instances a title that means Messiah. Otherwise “The
Jesus” makes no sense. Scholars who read the texts know of “The
Iesous,” but it would have been better had the common people also been privy to
this distinction between a translated name and a transliterated title.
[2] The consummation is the Second Coming
of Christ to the earth Revelation 19:11-16
[3] There are a few European
kingdoms/monarchies [in addition to the U.K.] and also monarchies/kingdoms in
the Middle East [Jordan and Saudi Arabia to name a few].
[4] Calling on the name of
the Lord to be saved and enduring to the end to be saved are two
different things, and we can’t have it both ways. So what did Jesus mean when
he said a person must persist to the consummation to be saved? The consummation
of what? The consummation of our natural lives? What is it a person must endure
to the consummation of to be saved?
We get some help from the prophet Joel concerning this
seeming contradiction to the free gift of salvation based on faith and “not
works lest any should boast.” Joel
predicted a time when God’s people would be able to call on him to be
saved. This was not possible in Joel’s time. After Jesus rose from the dead, a
great outpouring of God’s Spirit happened on the day of Pentecost. Peter
confirmed that the experience of the 120 in the upper room [which ended up by spilling
out into a huge street meeting] was a
fulfillment of what Joel had predicted.
The time had finally come when people
could simply “call” upon the Lord and be saved [received assurance of Eternal
Life]. Three thousand plus people were born again on the Day of Pentecost by
calling out in faith upon the name of the Lord.
So, if that is the case, and salvation is for the asking
with assurance that we possess Eternal Life now 1 John 5:11-12
where do the words of Jesus about “enduring to the consummation” come into
play? How do we rightly discern between Jesus, Joel, and Paul, who appear to
contradict each other?
The conflict is resolved when we understand that, in this
verse, Jesus is not referring to same time period Joel and Paul reference Joel
2, Ephesians 2 [Accepted Time 2 Corinthians 6:1-2] but rather
to The Time of Jacob’s Trouble Jeremiah also known as The
Great Tribulation, at the end of which Jesus will physically and visibly
return and establish his Everlasting Kingdom Daniel 2:44.
We are presently living in the time Peter heralded on that
long ago Day of Pentecost, which initiated the Dispensation [or Age] of
Grace—the time of Christ in You, that was initiated by the Holy
Spirit descending and remaining (taking up residence within the
bodies of Believers). Later on, the apostle Paul confirmed that our bodies
are now the Temple of God.
The time of “Christ in You” had its beginning on the first
Feast of Shavuot following the crucifixion of Christ. It is commonly
known among Christians, as the “Day of Pentecost.” This Feast of the Lord is
also known as the Feast of Weeks and occurs 50 days after Passover. Pentecost
is a Greek word meaning “fifty.”
Shavuot
is a harvest feast, and this is significant. Because, the Day of Pentecost/Shavuot
kicked off the greatest age of harvest this world has ever known or ever will
know. At the time of this writing, we are still living in the time of God’s
great harvest…and that harvest is saved souls, won to Christ and supernaturally
translated by the power of the Holy Spirit from the Kingdom of Darkness into
the Kingdom of God’s Dear Son.
There are three harvest feasts that represent and predict
the time people can simply call on the name of the Lord to be saved, the
"Accepted Time," the "Time of Favor, the "Age of
Grace" (the time we are living in as this is being written): 1.)
First-fruits 2.) Shavuot/Pentecost 3.) Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah.
The three stages of harvest (soul winning and in-gathering)
that these feasts predict and represent are 1.) Jesus the First
Fruits from the dead 2.) Shavuot/Pentecost, which is
the main harvest following the First Fruits. Paul called this the Time of
Favor. This is the time Joel predicted that calling on the Name of the Lord for
salvation would be possible. It is the time Jesus referenced when he said, “Look
around you! The fields are ripe for the harvest! Pray the Lord of the Harvest
will send forth laborers into HIS harvest!
3.) Rosh Hashana; the Feast of Trumpets also called the Feast
of In-Gathering. This feast consummates the main harvest with the
sound of a Trumpet. Those “In Christ” will be gathered. The dead in
Christ shall rise first, then the living will be changed and caught up to meet
the Lord in the air.
With Rosh Hashana the main harvest is finished, and
after that, come the gleanings. This happens during the Feast of the Lord
called the Day of Atonement. It is during the time this feast predicts and
represents, that “persevering to the consummation” will be the only way to be
saved. This “Time of Trouble” will follow “the Accepted Time” and the two will
be separated by the Resurrection/Rapture. It was to the Time of Jacob’s Trouble
that Jesus was referring to when he said one must, “persevere to the
consummation” to be saved Daniel 12:11-12.
This is written about in
detail in the book, REDEMPTION: Bible Prophecy Simplified.
The great harvest of the past 2000 years, will be gathered
in at the Resurrection of the Dead in Christ and the Catching Up those living
IN HIM at the time of his coming in the air 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.
This is predicted in the *Feast of the Trumpets—Rosh Hashanah—which is
a two day feast.
After that, come the gleanings during the Time of Jacob’s
Trouble, the Great Tribulation—the time Jeremiah predicted people would say
“The summer is over; the harvest is ended, and we are not saved.”
When Jesus said, “They that endure to the end will be
saved,” he was referring to those left behind when the main harvest of the
Feast of Weeks is finally gathered in at the Feast of Trumpets (Resurrection/Rapture).
At the time of this writing, we are living in the time
of “Christ in You,” the “Age of Grace,” and anyone can call upon the name of
the Lord and receive forgiveness of sins/ Eternal Life [be saved] Romans 10:9-13.
Those who do not call upon
the Name of the Lord during the time of
“Christ IN You,” and are alive during the Time of Jacob’s Trouble
(foretold by the Feast of Lord, the Day of Atonement), must “persevere to the consummation”
at which time, those who have endured and are still alive, when Jesus returns, will
experience a dramatic deliverance. The gleanings (those who are left alive after
the main harvest) will be gathered in after the main harvest is completed. The
only other options during that horrific time will be to provide, comfort,
provision, and protection for Jews and Christians or to die for refusing to
take the Mark of allegiance to the Man of Sin Matthew 10:39-42, Matthew
25:31-46, Revelation 14:13.
*The book, REDEMPTION: Bible Prophecy Simplified, is
a detailed study of Bible prophecy based on the Feasts of the Lord that this
writer also calls, the “Prophetic Feasts of Hope.” There are seven of them, and
they are all about God’s REDEMPTION of our bodies, souls, and the earth,
through his risen Son, Jesus the Messiah. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0979429331
[5] During the Great Tribulation/Time of
Jacob’s Trouble Jeremiah 30:7 of which Jesus is referencing in this
passage, it is the Everlasting Gospel of the Kingdom that will be preached. How
many pastors, teachers, evangelists, etc.. are preaching the Good News of THE
KINGDOM? Even though, during this present Time of Favor, the Good News [the
Gospel of Grace] is being preached [whoever calls upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved Acts 2], as it should be, the Gospel of the Kingdom
should not be neglected. The Kingdom of God is presently within us Luke
17:20-21, but there is a physical kingdom coming Matthew 20:20-23.
The time is coming [during The Indignation/Great Tribulation Isaiah
26:20-21] that whoever loses their lives for HIS his sake and “endures to
the end,” will be saved, either by dying for him or by being faithful to him
until the day he returns and are alive at His Second Coming, when Jesus
physically and visibly comes out of Heaven with his armies to defeat his
enemies and establish his physical Kingdom here on earth. This is the Gospel of
the Kingdom that Jesus preached the first time he came. This is the kingdom the prophets
foretold. The Good News of the Kingdom will once again be “front and center”
after the Resurrection/Rapture, during the Time of Jacob’s Trouble.
[6] Jesus referred to the uniqueness of
earth and its human inhabitants when he called earth the “Home-world.”
This is significant as the teaching of the multiverse is now popular among
secular humanists, as is the teaching that that are likely other planets like
earth and that humans are simply highly evolved primates, no more special than
any other animal. Jesus said our planet is special by referring to it as oikoumene. The first part of the word is “oiko” or “oikou” meaning “home.” Yet scholars consistently leave this part of the word untranslated thinking it
is insignificant, but it is not.
The word usually translated as world in Matthew 24:14 actually
means “home-world.” James Strong took an educated guess as to the biblical meaning
of oikoumene [G3625]. But he was mistaken.
At least one interlinear
translates the word oikoumene correctly as home-[world], which is proved
to be both correct and significant in light of evolutionist errors concerning
the uniqueness of both humans [created in the image of God] and our
[Goldie-locks] planet, created just for humanity. Many unbelieving scientists strive
to figure out some other reason besides a loving Creator as to why planet earth
appears to be fine-tuned for life—which it is!
In this one verse, Jesus differentiates earth from all other planets in
the entire universe by calling it the home-[world]. There is only “home”-world
in all creation, and that is planet earth. It was made just for us.
[7] When the Abomination of Desolation [spoken
of by Daniel] makes its appearance, the devastation will be so sudden, there
will literally be no time to prepare. Jesus had only one thing to say to
those in Israel and most especially Jerusalem (He used the word Judaea,
because that name described what is now the Nation of Israel. If he had used
the name Israel at that time, the people of Judaea would not have identified
with it. For centuries, from the time of David’s grandson on, Jerusalem had
been located in the Kingdom of Judah—not Israel).
The two nations of Israel and
Judah, were only unified as one nation under the name Israel in 1948, when God
restored his people back to their land. And this was predicted in Ezekiel
37:16-19. The restored and unified Nation of Israel marks the first and only
time in history that any nation was revived after being dead for 2500 years.
By identifying the event (Daniel’s prophecy about the
abomination that causes desolation) and saying, when you see that, RUN!”
Jesus both confirmed and interpreted Daniel 9:27, where Daniel said the
abomination that will come upon the desolate will come on “wings.” It will fly
in swiftly. It will happen suddenly and bring fierce and utter desolation
with it. In Paul’s letter to the congregation at Thessalonica, even more
details about this future event are given. It will be both a political and religious
coup. That is why the reign of the antichrist will cost many people their very souls
Matthew 15:26:27.
[8] The reference to Daniel and the
abomination of Desolation, places this as a mid-tribulation verse. This is a
prophetic warning to a future generation of Jews [and Christians who will be
living in Israel in the latter days]. The geographic center is the Temple [Holy
Place] in Jerusalem, which will be rebuilt. Plans are being made for the
rebuilding of the Temple as this is being written.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WSJi2o2VzI Approximately 1:15
seconds into this four minute video. There is a very short [and silent] clip of
the Netanyahu and Pompeo along with a small political and religious delegation
viewing the scale model of the future Temple that Israel plans to rebuild and
that the Bible says will be rebuilt.
[9] Fleeing in winter will understandably
be dangerous due to exposure, but why did Jesus warn people to pray their
flight will not take place on a Sabbath day? One possibly is that unlike
ancient peoples who would would flee on foot or with horse-drawn carts, modern
citizens of Jerusalem [and Israel] will use vehicles that need gasoline. They
would need to have a full tank and also carry extra fuel with them. In Israel,
many businesses are closed on Sabbath days. If the coup takes place on a
Sabbath day, many of those attempting to flee will be trapped in the cities.
[10] This is the verse where the “Great
Tribulation” gets its name. This particular time period is synonymous with the
the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” Jeremiah predicted. This is not a reference to
the sacking of Jerusalem in A. D. 70.
[11] God is and always will be a
miracle-working God, but there are also lying wonders. Jesus warned that
miracles will be associated with The Man of Sin, and this is confirmed in the
Revelation Revelation 13:12-14, 16:13-14.
[12] How visible and brilliant is lightning?
No one will need to hear second-hand that Messiah has returned to earth. He
will come in power and great glory Matthew 24:30. The Second
Coming of Christ will be the most observable and dazzling event in the history
of the world. Every eye shall see him Revelation 1:7.
[13] Revelation 19 tells of the great
slaughter that will take place at the battle of Armageddon and of the influx of
eagles that will feast on the dead bodies.
[14] Jesus was speaking of the Time of Jacob’s
Trouble/The Great Tribulation, here. We know this, in part, because, among
other things, what he described in Matthew twenty-four perfectly parallel the
things John saw in The Revelation [the Apokalypsis chapter six]. This
writer believes everything in Revelation chapter six to be
post-Resurrection/Rapture.
The reasons for this are covered [in detail] in the
book, REDEMPTION: Bible Prophecy Simplified

[15] Lexicon :: Strong's G302 – ἄν/an has no exact English equivalent and frequently goes untranslated, but it is certain that it does not mean “till.” Grammatically, it is difficult to understand how translating the Greek particle “ἄν” into the English preposition “till” was ever considered acceptable. Contextually and taken together with other passages, we know the Jewish race will never pass away/perish. Yet incorrectly translating “ἄν” into “till,” insinuates that they will. Jesus made no such insinuation but rather made an emphatic statement regarding the Jewish race—the physical descendants of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob—confirming the promises and the prophecies that his progeny would inhabit the earth forever.
[16] Lexicon :: Strong's G1492 - eidō
The word “know” or
“perceive” in this verse, is translated from the Greek word εἴδω
/ eídō,
which is pronounced i'-do; eídō is a primary verb
used only in certain past tenses. Therefore, insinuating a
future tense by translating the word eídō as “can know” is misleading.
Jesus was saying that up until the time of his earthly ministry, no one [not
even angels] except his father—YHWH—[the Godhead] knew the day or hour
of his coming.
At the time Jesus spoke these words, he himself, knew both the
day and the hour, and he had always known it because Jesus is YHWH.
Jesus is the Eternal [Everlasting] Father—Father of Eternity.
William Cooke D.D. made a
solid argument that it was the revelation of that knowledge and not the
knowledge itself that was not given to the Son to reveal. Jesus, Very God, YHWH,
certainly knew all things, but on more that one occasion said it was not time
to reveal everything to his followers –Christian Theology Doctrines and
Ordinances Explained and Defended 1879.
[17] Jesus was not mandating that daughters
be given in marriage by their fathers or other male guardians, he was simply
stating what was the current state of things past, present, and future. In the
book of Genesis, Rebekah was the one who made the choice to go with Isaac’s
servant and marry Isaac, a man she had never met. Neither her mother nor her
father participated in that decision in any way.
[18] Proverbs 31: The virtuous woman is also
a servant who rises “while it is yet night and gives meat to her household.”
The meat referred to in Proverbs 31 is not cooking breakfast, she has servants
and maidens to do that. It is spiritual meat. Jesus said that to do the will of
His Father was meat to Him (John 4:34).
